Local Artists
I love the artwork around Subiaco in general. The work done during the "Paint Subi" project was excellent but I wish that local artists had been given the opportunity to display their work. There are so many talents artists right here on our doorstep why get others in from abroad?

This is an ongoing issue in Western Australia. Organisations like FORM bring in overseas artists at very significant expense. Obviously the CoS and FORM are different things, but giving preference to local artists is, obviously, reinvesting in the local economy.
