Play is an integral part of childhood. The City of Subiaco values facilitating diverse and quality play experiences through our playgrounds, parks and open spaces.

The current Rosalie Street mini park playground (located at 39 Rosalie Street, Shenton Park) was installed in early 2014 and is reaching the end of its play life. City of Subiaco is now undertaking the process of replacing the playground, and we invite the local community and users of the playground to be involved.

Community input, alongside industry best practice, the City's Playspace Strategy and available budget will determine how the play equipment will be replaced.

This project has a two-part consultation process:

  • Stage one (this stage) - an exploration of who currently uses the playground, and a chance to register to be part of Stage two - closes Sunday 20 September 2026.
  • Stage two - review and selection of playground concept design options.
