Rosalie Park set to get floodlighting upgrade
Floodlighting at Rosalie Park is set to receive a much needed upgrade next financial year after the State Government approved a grant application from the City.
Rosalie Park is the City’s largest active recreation reserve and has 13 floodlight poles with 31 individual lights which do not currently meet Australian Standards for sports training.
The cost of upgrading the floodlighting is around $1.2 million with the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries now set to contribute $300,000 to the total cost provided the project is completed in the 2021-22 financial year.
