LPS5: State supports Subi approach Friday 19 October 2018

The State Government has once again confirmed it is willing to work with the city’s suggestions on LPS5 to get a scheme and strategy that aligns with the community’s expectations and meets the needs of a growing population.

Local planning is an intricate, detailed and legislative process that affects every community member. The Subiaco community is currently working through this process for draft Local Planning Scheme No. 5 (LPS5) and draft Local Planning Strategy.

The City of Subiaco will work with the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) to ensure its draft local planning scheme delivers the best possible outcomes for the community.

The City of Subiaco is in the process of reviewing feedback on draft Local Planning Scheme No. 5 (LPS 5) and the draft Local Planning Strategy. 1041 submissions were received on draft LPS 5 and 306 submissions on the draft strategy. Thank-you to everyone who provided feedback on these important planning documents.
