The consultation has now concluded.

The City of Subiaco has resolved to make a local law relating to waste services.

The purpose of the local law is to assist the City of Subiaco in administering sustainable waste and recycling services to maintain consistent, cost effective and functional waste management practices to aid in the reduction of waste to landfill. The effect is that waste will be managed within the City of Subiaco as effectively and sustainably as possible.

The draft Waste Local Law 2023 is available for review in the project page Document library. A copy of the proposed local law can be also be viewed at the City’s Customer Service and Council Chambers located at Level 2, 388 Hay Street, Subiaco during opening hours (Monday to Friday 9am to 4:30pm).

Update - March 2023

The draft Waste Local Law 2023 will be considered for endorsement by Council at the City's Ordinary Council Meeting on Tuesday 19 March 2023.

Council meetings are open to the public and begin at 5.30pm in Council Chambers at Level 2, 388 Hay Street, Subiaco. For further information on attending a Council meeting, please visit: www.subiaco.wa.gov.au/your-council/council-business.

Once reviewed you can make your written submission via our online submission form. Submissions about the proposed law closed at 5pm on Monday 14 August 2023.
