    The City of Subiaco is inviting submissions on a proposal to include No.2 Nicholson Road, Subiaco on the Heritage List and to amend the level of significance of the place to 'considerable significance' (level 2) on the Local Government Inventory.

    The City's Heritage List is established under Town Planning Scheme No.4 and comprises a list of places which are of cultural heritage significance and are considered worthy of conservation. No.2 Nicholson Road, Subiaco, comprising a group of three buildings, has been identified as having 'considerable significance' (level 2) to the City of Subiaco.

The proposed heritage area comprises of the southern side of Heytesbury Road (Numbers 17–59), Numbers 89-123 Rupert Street, Numbers 84-106 Salisbury Street and the northern side of Nicholson Road (Numbers 2–12).

    The Salisbury and Rupert Street Heritage Area is identified as having aesthetic and historic value to the City of Subiaco.
