Community information sessions 2023

To ensure the community are informed and updated about the changes involved with the City of Subiaco's Food Organics Garden Organics (FOGO) roll-out, the City will be hosting a variety of free information sessions during April and May to answer all your FOGO questions.

If you can't make it along in person to any of the sessions below, you might find the answer to your FOGO questions on our FAQs page, or click on the video explainer links (external site) on the right-hand side of this page.


Information sessions

These free info sessions will be held at a range of City venues, and will include Q&As so residents can submit questions for panellists.

Pop-up stall at Subi Farmers' Market

Residents will have the chance to talk with City staff and representatives from the West Metro Recycling Centre (WMRC) about FOGO, play interactive FOGO games, and pick up FOGO merchandise. The stall will be at the market on the following dates and times:

  • Saturday 22 April, 8am to 12pm
  • Saturday 6 May, 8am to 12pm
  • Saturday 13 May, 8am to 12pm
  • Saturday 20 May, 8am to 12pm
  • Saturday 27 May, 8am to 12pm


Drop-in sessions at Subiaco Library

Residents can talk directly with a City staff member, and ask specific questions they have about the FOGO waste service and how it will affect them. The drop-in sessions will run on the following dates and times:

  • Wednesday 5 April, 1pm to 4pm
  • Wednesday 12 April, 1pm to 4pm
  • Thursday 4 May, 3pm to 7pm
  • Friday 19 May, 9.30am to 12pm
  • Tuesday 23 May, 9.30am to 12pm
