Expressions of interest for Heritage Reference Group - September 2022

As part of the review process the City is seeking Expressions of Interest (closed Sunday 25 September) to join a Heritage Reference Group (HRG) consisting of a maximum of 10 community members. The group will be made up of interested persons with a good understanding of heritage and who live in or own property in the Daglish Precinct. Appointments to the HRG will be selected from the nominations by an internal evaluation panel made up of three officers.

The role of the group will be to:

  • Provide a forum for open communication between the community and the City to identify and proactively manage any potential issues and opportunities that arise through the review process.
  • Assist in establishing the consultation/engagement methodology with the wider community.
  • Foster awareness and understanding of the project within the community.
  • Encourage community nominations
  • Assist with the review of nominations
  • Review and provide feedback on the draft LHS

To nominate for the group please complete an online Expression of Interest (EOI) form, alternatively you can print and submit a hard copy EOI form (located in the project document library).

The Terms of Reference for the Daglish HRG can be found in the project document library. These will be confirmed at the first HRG meeting.

Expressions of Interest to join the Daglish Heritage Reference Group closed at 5pm on Sunday 25 September 2022. Thank you to those who submitted a form.

There will be additional opportunities for community involvement once the heritage survey nominations open.
