Shenton Park Community Centre

The City of Subiaco in partnership with CommPlan Alliance has developed the draft Community Facilities Concept Plan 2015-2035 and would like your feedback. The draft plan:

  • identifies the city's needs for community facilities and services to meet future demands
  • provides a set of guiding principles that will underpin the provision of community facilities
  • recommends how to meet future needs and address community facility gaps within the city.

The plan includes an analysis of the city's current and expected requirements as well as the input from experts, stakeholders and the community.

Three main areas of need were identified and a recommendation made for each. They are:

  • museum and library redevelopment
  • community centre development
  • pre-primary services.

As a result, two reports were developed: a detailed report documenting the entire process and outcomes, plus a summary document, which provides an accessible and concise overview of the plan.

The summary version, which can be viewed here.

The full, detailed report can be downloaded here.

You can also view hard copies of both plans at the City of Subiaco Administration Centre, 241 Rokeby Road, Subiaco, and the Subiaco Library.

Feedback on the draft summary plan closed on 5pm on Monday 15 June 2015.
