North Subiaco Structure Plan

Planning North Subiaco together

North Subiaco is identified as part of the Subiaco Secondary Centre under State Planning Policy 4.2 Activity Centres for Perth and Peel.

As the area is identified as part of the periphery of the Subiaco Activity Centre, and not part of the centre itself, the different characteristics aren't well represented by an activity centre plan. For this reason, a structure plan for the area has been developed.

North Subiaco includes all land, both public and private, north of Churchill Avenue to the railway line, bordered to the east and west by Thomas Road and Hadyn Bunton Drive and Townshend Road.

The plan provides guidance on key subdivision and development considerations, including land uses, building heights, building setbacks and site requirements, public realm improvements and movement network upgrades.

The city sought your input on the draft North Subiaco Structure Plan to help shape the future of North Subiaco and ensure the plan reflects a shared vision between city and community. Consultation also included Subiaco Oval seeking thought on the future of the site.

Consultation for this project closed at 5pm on Friday 2 December 2016.
